PhosCo (ASX:PHO) said drilling at the KM discovery, part of its Gasaat phosphate project in Tunisia, resulted in "consistently thick, higher-grade" intersections, according to a Tuesday Australian bourse filing.

Portable X-ray fluorescence scans on the drill holes suggest that the grade of phosphate intersected is similar to previous results. The intersections it encountered included 39 meters of phosphate from 10 meters, 37 meters of phosphate from 41 meters, and 18 meters of phosphate from 31 meters.

It will now trench along the eastern flank of the KM discovery and conduct confirmatory drilling at the nearby SAB prospect.
