Prospect Resources (ASX:PSC) said preliminary geophysical airborne electromagnetic survey interpretation at the Mumbezhi copper project in Zambia identified 11 strong electromagnetic conductors, according to a Wednesday Australian bourse filing.
The result defined new regional exploration targets and validated previous electromagnetic interpretations from historical data sets, Prospect Chief Executive Sam Hosack said.
A phase two drilling program at the project was recently completed, and the firm is awaiting assays.
The firm owns an 85% stake in the project.
