Nameson (HKG:1982) recorded a 13% rise in attributable profit in the six months ended Sept. 30 to HK$336 million from HK$298.2 million in the year-ago period, a Friday Hong Kong bourse filing said.
The knitwear manufacturer's earnings per share were HK$0.147 in the half year, up from HK$0.131 in the corresponding period of the last year.
Revenue rose 1.6% to HK$2.83 billion in the interim period from HK$2.79 billion a year prior, mainly due to a rise in the sales revenue of men's and women's knitwear products and fabrics.
The firm declared an interim dividend of HK$0.11 per share for the period, payable on or around Dec. 19 to shareholders of record on Dec. 11.
