Yandal Resources (ASX:YRL) said diamond drilling results from its Arrakis prospect within its Well-Barwidgee gold project showed that mineralisation is broader than earlier interpretations, according to a Monday filing with the Australian bourse.

Results yielded 56.5 meters at 1.3 grams per tonne gold from 108 meters, the filing said.

The company expects results from the remainder of the program throughout December, per the filing.

It has also started an about 5,000-meter reverse circulation at Arrakis, the company said.

Shares of the company fell 8% in recent Monday trade.
