CuFe (ASX:CUF) said the inclusion of 4,421 tonnes of Bismuth contained metal and 266,000 ounces of silver after a mineral resource update at its Orlando deposit within the Tennant Creek project is likely to add "significant" value to the project's economics, according to a Monday filing with the Australian bourse.
The project now holds 24.4 million tonnes with a grade of 1.8% copper, 0.6 grams per tonne gold, 18,224 tonnes of bismuth metal, and 2 million ounces of silver, the filing said.
The bismuth resource is now about one year of global production for the mineral, the filing added.
Shares of the company rose 5% in recent Monday trade.
