H.G. Infra Engineering (NSE:HGINFRA, BOM:541019) said its joint venture with Kalpataru Projects International has been named the lowest bidder by Maharashtra Metro Rail Corp. for a contract worth 14.2 billion Indian rupees, according to an Indian bourse filing on Friday.
The JV-where H.G. Infra holds 40% and Kalpataru 60%-quoted for the design and construction of a 20.53-km elevated viaduct, including a depot approach and three special spans, for the Thane Integral Ring Metro project, the filing said.
The work is scheduled to be completed in 36 months.
Shares of the company rose over 1% in Monday's trade.
