GreenPower Motor Company Inc. announced that its EV Star line of all-electric, zero-emission vehicles is now eligible for incentives under the reopened New Jersey Zero-Emission Incentive Program (NJ ZIP). The program has allocated a total of $75 million in incentives, split into two funding rounds of $37.5 million each, available to multiple qualifying organizations, not just GreenPower. GreenPower's eligible Class 4 vehicles can receive vouchers starting at $65,000 per vehicle, with potential bonuses bringing the total incentive to over $90,000 per vehicle. The NJ ZIP funds are distributed on a first-come, first-serve basis to support the adoption of zero-emission vehicles by commercial fleets across New Jersey.
