DarioHealth Corp. has announced the publication of a new peer-reviewed study in the Journal of Medical Internet Research evaluating its digital health platform for adults with Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus. The study, conducted by researchers at Sanofi and Symphony Health, compared healthcare utilization and medical costs between Dario users and matched non-users receiving usual care. Results showed that Dario users experienced 23% lower hospitalization rates and 26% lower all-cause medical charges, with an estimated annual medical cost savings of $5,077 per user. The study found that more frequent engagement with the Dario platform was associated with fewer inpatient and emergency room events. The full results are now available and have already been published on the JMIR website.
