Havilah Resources (ASX:HAV) said work is currently progressing for executing definitive transaction agreements for the proposed alliance with Sandfire Resources (ASX:SFR) to advance the Kalkaroo Copper-Gold project in South Australia, according to a Thursday filing with the Australian bourse.

The company will seek shareholder approval for the proposed transaction at the meeting in January 2026, the filing said.

Shares of the company and Sandfire each fell past 1% in recent Thursday trade.
