0947 GMT - Pets at Home's reiterated guidance is encouraging against the backdrop of a challenging first half, Jefferies analysts Andrew Wade and Grace Gilberg write in a research note. The U.K. pet-care group continues to forecast underlying pretax profit between 90 million and 100 million pounds for fiscal 2026. This is based on an expected improvement in the retail business and despite a reported drop of around 34% in underlying pretax profit for the first half ended Oct. 9. "Despite recent challenges, Pets at Home has been a long run share winner, and it operates in fundamentally attractive markets," the analysts say. The stock trades 2.5% higher.
