Black Canyon Finds High-Grade Manganese, Iron Mineralization in Western Australia Project

Black Canyon (ASX:BCA) found high-grade manganese and iron mineralization at a recently acquired tenement located directly south of the three-kilometer-long Wandanya high-grade manganese and iron discovery in Western Australia, according to a Wednesday Australian bourse filing.

The results were up to 58.3% manganese and 66% iron, from two different holes.

The company said that the outcropping manganese and iron mineralization is interpreted to represent strike extensions to the Wandanya system, which is about nine kilometers long.

No previous exploration targeting manganese or iron has been carried out on these new targets, and heritage surveys are scheduled in the first quarter of 2026 in preparation for drilling in the second quarter of 2026.

The company has completed its third heritage survey for the year, clearing the way for 10,000 meters of infill and extension drilling across the three-kilometer Wandanya mineralized footprint and a further 5,000 meters of northern and eastern step-out drilling to expand the footprint once the 2025/26 wet season ends.
