Astron (ASX:ATR) sold 686,974 shares of Energy Fuels at about $14.24 per share for $9.8 million, according to a Tuesday filing with the Australian bourse.

The company is set to receive a further $14 million of the US-based critical minerals producer's shares, under the parties' joint venture agreement for the Donald rare earth and mineral sands project at Victoria, the filing said.

The receipt of shares is contingent on the project reaching a final investment decision anticipated later this year to early 2026, the filing said.

Shares of the company rose 1% in recent Tuesday trade.
