Zeotech (ASX:ZEO) said an independent one-year peer review by BG&E of AusPozz in concrete mix trials validates it as a high-performance building material that may partially replace cement, according to a Tuesday filing with the Australian bourse.
The review confirmed that concrete drying shrinkage was reduced by an average of 30% after 56 days across the trial mixes, the filing said.
It also confirmed that AusPozz can effectively mitigate alkali-silica reaction risks and reduce peak concrete temperatures compared to cement, the filing added.
Shares of the company rose 4% in recent Tuesday trade.
