Patronus Resources (ASX:PTN) found high-grade uranium mineralization during a recent drilling at the Thunderball uranium deposit, located within the Pine Creek project in the Northern Territory, according to a Tuesday Australian bourse filing.
The results were of up to 10.76 meters at 2.95% triuranium octoxide from 87 meters, including three meters at 9.7% triuranium octoxide from 88 meters, and one meter at 2.18% triuranium octoxide from 96.76 meters.
The company said that the results confirm the upper lode as a newly emerging, "significant" high-grade position, complementing high-grade intervals already identified in the main lode.
The company's shares closed 6% up on Tuesday.
