Zhejiang Wellsun Intelligent Technology (SHE:300882) was named a preliminary winner in a procurement bid by the State Grid Corporation of China, according to a Shenzhen bourse filing on Tuesday.

The total contract amount is expected to be almost 43 million yuan.

The products for which the company was preliminarily selected include intelligent integrated terminals, special transformer collection terminals, low-voltage metering current transformers, 10-kilovolt and 35-kilovolt metering current and voltage transformers and 10kV metering combined transformers.

The smart meter manufacturer's shares rose over 1% in afternoon trade on Tuesday.
