True North Copper (ASX:TNC) said the extended second phase drilling program delineated multiple high-grade shoots at the Aquila discovery, part of the Mt. Oxide project in Queensland, according to a Tuesday Australian bourse filing.
It encountered intercepts of 32 meters at 1.02% grade of copper, 0.17% grade of cobalt, 4.4 grams per tonne grade of silver from 109 meters, as well as six meters at 3.56% grade of copper, 0.60% grade of cobalt, 11.5 g/t grade of silver from 122 meters.
The firm's Chief Executive, Andrew Mooney, said Aquila had the potential to exceed the scale and quality of the existing Vero deposit at the project.
