Altair Minerals (ASX:ALR) acquired a stream sampling database from the Guyana Geology and Mines Commission for stream sediment and bulk leach extractable gold results across the Greater Oko project, according to a Wednesday Australian bourse filing.

The dataset defined new large-scale geochemical anomalies in unexplored terrain at both the North Peters and South Oko prospects.

It also identified three new priority regional targets identified, proximal to South Oko and North Peters.

A third exploration team joined the South Oko groundwork campaign to expedite the trenching program while augers and soil sampling continue in the area.
