Jacobs Solutions Inc., as part of the AJM Joint Venture alongside Aurecon and Mott MacDonald, played a key role in the successful delivery of Melbourne's Metro Tunnel, Victoria's largest public transport investment in decades. The project, which opened on November 30, features twin nine-kilometer tunnels beneath Melbourne's central business district and five new underground stations: Arden, Parkville, State Library, Town Hall, and Anzac. The Metro Tunnel connects the Sunbury line in the west with the Cranbourne and Pakenham lines in the southeast, easing congestion and improving access to key destinations across the city. The AJM JV provided technical advisory services, including reference design, environmental assessments, planning approvals, and operational readiness support, contributing to a project expected to benefit generations of Victorians.
