Block Inc. reported processing over 124 million transactions across Square, Cash App, and Afterpay during the Black Friday and Cyber Monday weekend, representing a 10% year-over-year increase. Approximately 49.8 million unique consumers engaged with Block's platforms, and more than 1.3 million businesses were served during this period. Key growth sectors included services, which saw a 91% year-over-year increase, home and garden with a 23% rise, and travel and experiences up 13%. The top trending retail products were shirts and tops, shoes, and pants. Gift card spending reached $33.5 million, and social media purchases through Cash App Card grew 13% among young consumers. Midtown Atlanta recorded the highest number of repeat customers, with 57,900 and 469,000 local transactions. The peak spending day was Saturday across all neighborhoods.
