Safehold (SAFE) said Monday it has named Michael Trachtenberg as president.

The appointment followed a search process, the company said.

Trachtenberg joins Safehold after nearly 20 years at Lubert-Adler, a real estate fund manager, where he served most recently as president, the company said.
