Larvotto Resources (ASX:LRV) secured an option to acquire the Blockade Mine, located within its existing Mt Isa tenements in Queensland, from private company Kilo Copper, according to a Monday filing with the Australian bourse.
Due diligence drilling is set to begin, involving a six-hole reverse circulation drill program aimed at validating previous results and exploring mineral extensions, the filing said.
The company has the right to continue to explore and develop the project for AU$400,000 in cash or shares, subject to the completion of the drilling program, per the filing.
Shares rose nearly 1% in midday trade on Monday.
