Nam Lee Pressed Metals Industries' (SGX:G0I) attributable profit to owners jumped to SG$13.1 million in fiscal second half ended Sept. 30 from SG$9.7 million a year earlier, according to a Friday filing with the Singapore Exchange.
Shares of the metal products and metals solutions company surged over 6% in Monday trading.
Earnings per share climbed to SG$0.0543 compared with SG$0.04 in the comparable period.
Revenue meanwhile jumped to SG$109.1 million year over year from SG$101.8 million, mainly due to an uptick in construction and reefer container business.
The company declared a dividend of SG$0.03 per share for the period, up from SG$0.015 a year earlier.
