DXC Technology (DXC) and Aptys Solutions formed a strategic partnership to accelerate payments modernization for financial institutions, the companies said Thursday.

Financial details weren't disclosed.

The collaboration is designed to help banks and credit unions boost efficiency, reduce operational risk and improve customer and member experiences by integrating Aptys' payments connectivity and orchestration tools into DXC's banking transformation portfolio.

The initial phase will focus on core payments Application Programming Interface transactions, with plans to later introduce capabilities such as digital wallets, custody, and wealth management services, according to a joint statement.
