Air New Zealand's (ASX:AIZ, NZE:AIR) group capacity rose 4.4% year on year in October, according to a Tuesday filing with the Australian and New Zealand bourses.
Long-haul available seat kilometers (ASKs) fell by 0.1%, and domestic ASKs decreased by 1.5%, while short-haul international ASKs rose 17% year on year.
Group year-to-date underlying revenue per available seat kilometer increased by 0.5% compared with the prior year.
The airline carried 1.3 million passengers in October, up 0.8% on the year-earlier period, per the filing.
The passenger load factor came in at over 84%, just below the more than 85% reported a year earlier.
