Vinci Compass Investments Ltd. has completed the first phase of its acquisition of a 50.1% controlling stake in Verde Asset Management, one of Brazil's leading multi-strategy asset managers. The transaction, structured in two phases, involves payment through a combination of newly issued VINP Class A common shares and cash, with an initial installment paid at closing and a second installment due after two years, contingent on revenue targets. The second phase will take place five years after closing, at which point Vinci Compass will acquire the remaining 49.9% stake in Verde. With this acquisition, Vinci Compass adds approximately R$16 billion in assets under management, further strengthening its global investment product offerings and discretionary AUM mix.
