Marsh McLennan Agency $(MMA)$, a business of Marsh and a leading provider of insurance and risk management solutions, has acquired several Honolulu-based insurance brokerages-Atlas, Pyramid, and IC-from Tradewind Group. The acquired brokerages are known for their strong local client relationships and commitment to the Hawai'i community. MMA stated that the transaction is a long-term investment aimed at expanding service offerings across the islands by combining its national resources with the brokerages' local expertise. Leaders from both Tradewind Group and the acquired firms emphasized that the deal will enable greater growth opportunities for their teams and enhanced solutions for clients, while maintaining local operations and relationships.
