Metro Mining (ASX:MMI) said its Bauxite Hills operation in Queensland shipped 783,000 wet metric tonnes in November, up around 6.5% month-over-month, according to a Thursday Australian bourse filing.
Almost two full days were lost during the month due to unsafe transhipping conditions associated with Tropical Cyclone Fina, while an additional day of transhipment was lost because of maintenance activities.
Its year-to-date shipments total 5.6 million wet metric tonnes. It is on track for its guidance of 6.2 million wet metric tonnes to 6.6 million wet metric tonnes.
The firm's shares fell 1% in recent trading on Thursday.
