Polymetals Resources (ASX:POL) received firm commitments to raise AU$34.4 million via a placement of 39.5 million shares at AU$0.87 apiece, according to a Wednesday Australian bourse filing.
The offer price represents a 6.8% discount to the stock's five-day volume-weighted average price, the filing said.
The funds will be used for exploration at the company's Endeavor silver-zinc mine in New South Wales and to strengthen the balance sheet, the filing added.
Shares of the company fell past 2% in recent Wednesday trade.
