Aclarion Inc. has announced the publication of a featured article on its Nociscan technology in the Special Pain Issue of the International Journal of Spine Surgery (IJSS). The article highlights a successful clinical case in which Nociscan, a noninvasive SaaS platform, was used alongside traditional MRI to more accurately identify the source of chronic low back pain in a patient. As a result, the surgeon was able to limit surgical intervention to the affected disc, leading to the elimination of the patient's pain and a full return to an active lifestyle. These results, which strengthen the clinical evidence supporting Nociscan, have already been published in advance online by the IJSS.
