Qantas Airways (ASX:QAN) will bring back flight services between the Gold Coast and Auckland, New Zealand, operating direct flights three times a week from June 16, 2026, according to a Monday statement by the airline.
The service will add over 52,000 seats annually, the airline said.
The airline has also started offering flight services from Sydney to Apia via Auckland.
In a separate statement, Qantas said it will open an international lounge with a capacity of over 370 customers in Auckland on Dec. 17.
Shares of the company fell 1% in recent Monday trade.
