Aura Minerals Inc. has announced the completion of a feasibility study for the Era Dorada Project, an underground gold mine located in Jutiapa, Guatemala, near the town of Asunción Mita and the border with El Salvador. Previously known as the Cerro Blanco Project, Era Dorada is expected to produce 111,000 gold equivalent ounces annually during its first four years of full production, with potential for additional production upside. The project features a competitive all-in sustaining cost (AISC) of US$1,178 per ounce over its life of mine and requires an initial capital expenditure of US$382 million. The process plant will operate year-round, producing doré bars, and the project is fully licensed. Aura Minerals is working closely with local authorities to ensure compliance with environmental and social standards as development advances.
