Maplebear (CART), better known as Instacart, said Monday it has launched an app on OpenAI's ChatGPT to offer embedded shopping and instant checkout within ChatGPT conversations.

Financial details were not provided.

Instacart's ChatGPT app is available on desktop and mobile web devices, the company said.

ChatGPT will bring up the app when a user asks for it by starting a prompt that includes Instacart, the company said.
