Nordic Resources (ASX:NNL) said assays from the latest three holes "significantly" extend the gold-copper mineralization to the southwest of the current resource at its Kopsa gold-copper deposit in Finland, according to a Monday Australian bourse filing.

The results were of up to 13 meters at 2.8 grams per tonne (g/t) gold, 0.1% copper, and 3 g/t silver from 73 meters, including 1 meter at 31.9 g/t gold, 0.4% copper, and 10 g/t silver from 83 meters.

Assay results from recent drilling to the west of Kopsa are due shortly, and the company said it will continue regular reporting of assay results until the end of the first quarter of 2026.

On the basis of the results, the company said it has decided to continue at Kopsa until the end of December and expand the drill program to around 6,000 meters.

The company's shares fell past 5% in recent Monday trade.
