Regis Resources (ASX:RRL) confirmed continuity of mineralization outside current mine designs at the Garden Well underground project in Western Australia, according to a Monday filing with the Australian bourse.

Drilling beneath the open pit improved the understanding of down-plunge and along-strike continuity and boosted confidence in the structural and stratigraphic controls on gold distribution, the filing said.

Ongoing drilling is aimed at upgrading inferred mineral resources to the indicated category, per the filing.
