Alamo Group Inc. has signed a definitive agreement to acquire Petersen Industries, Inc., a manufacturer of truck-mounted grapple loader equipment, for $166.5 million. The purchase price will be financed through a combination of cash on hand and the company's credit facility, with the adjusted price reflecting approximately $150 million after expected tax benefits. This transaction values Petersen at about 7.9 times its EBITDA, not including anticipated synergies. Upon completion, Petersen will become part of Alamo Group's Industrial Equipment Division. The transaction is expected to close in the first quarter of 2026, subject to customary closing conditions.
