Perpetua Resources Corp. has partnered with Idaho National Laboratory (INL) to advance a critical mineral pilot processing plant. The facility will be capable of recovering minerals such as antimony from Perpetua's Stibnite Gold Project, with the goal of producing high-quality, military specification antimony trisulfide. This initiative supports domestic defense mineral processing capabilities and workforce training in Idaho. The project is part of a broader partnership with the U.S. Army via the Defense Ordnance Technology Consortium, with Perpetua receiving up to $22.4 million in total DOTC funding to help establish a fully domestic antimony trisulfide supply chain for national security.
