China's new energy vehicle (NEV) sales grew 4.2% year over year to 1.3 million units in November, Xinhua News Agency reported Monday, citing the China Passenger Car Association.
NEV production jumped 18% year on year to 1.8 million units, Xinhua reported.
Domestic market penetration jumped 59% year over year, up 7 percentage points, the report said.
China's top new-energy vehicle manufacturers include BYD (SHE:002594, HKG:1211), Li Auto (HKG:2015), XPeng (HKG:9868) and NIO (HKG:9866, SGX:NIO).
