Regal Investment Fund (ASX:RF1) said its responsible entity, Equity Trustees, novated the fund's investment management agreement to Regal Partners Funds Management from Regal Partners Holdings, according to a Friday filing with the Australian bourse.

The novation is administrative in nature and does not impact the company's portfolio management responsibilities, the filing said.

It has also not resulted in any "substantive or material" changes to the terms of the agreement, the filing added.

Shares of the company rose nearly 1% at market close.
