Tutor Perini Corporation announced that its subsidiary, Perini Management Services, Inc., has secured a $35.8 million contract from the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers for the construction of a new Tool and Die Facility at the Iowa Army Ammunition Plant in Middletown, Iowa. The 56,000-square-foot industrial facility will feature site development, utilities, structural steel and concrete systems, architectural finishes, HVAC, plumbing, fire protection systems, electrical distribution, a solar photovoltaic system, telecommunications, electronic security systems, and overhead bridge cranes. The building is designed for LEED Silver certification, with commissioning of major systems to ensure sustainability. The project began in November 2025, with substantial completion expected by June 2027.
