CGI (GIB) said Wednesday that it signed a contract with the NATO Communications and Information Agency to deliver the HERMES project, which is intended to enhance NATO's internal communications.
The company said the project will be carried out in collaboration with its partner, Security Networks. HERMES will provide NATO with an IT solution that will enable mobile communication on protected equipment, CGI added.
CGI said it will also set up and operate the secure VPN, while its partner will provide hardware and encryption components.
No financial details were disclosed.
