Red Cat Holdings (RCAT) selected SpiderOak to conduct a Blue Unmanned Aircraft System cybersecurity assessment of its Black Widow short-range reconnaissance platform.

To support the platform's inclusion on the Blue UAS Cleared List, the assessment will include vulnerability analysis, penetration testing, and foreign ownership, control, or influence evaluations, SpiderOak said Tuesday in a statement.

Financial terms weren't disclosed.
