Visa (V) and financial services firm Orange Money Group said Friday they have entered into a partnership to roll out a virtual card for online payments in certain African countries and Jordan in the Middle East.
The Orange Money Visa virtual card has been launched in Botswana, Madagascar, Cote d'Ivoire, the companies said.
The product, which is accessible through the Max it app and can be funded from Orange Money accounts, will be gradually rolled out in Guinea, Burkina Faso, and the Democratic Republic of Congo, the companies added.
