Air New Zealand's (ASX:AIZ, NZE:AIR) group capacity fell 3.5% year on year in November, according to a Friday filing with the Australian and New Zealand bourses.
Long-haul available seat kilometers (ASKs) fell by 12.1%, and domestic ASKs decreased by 1.6%, while short-haul international ASKs rose 12.2% year on year.
Group year-to-date underlying revenue per available seat kilometer increased by 1.8% compared with the prior year.
The airline carried 1.3 million passengers in November, down 2.6% from the year-earlier period, per the filing.
The passenger load factor rose to around 83%, from around 82% a year earlier.
