Ballymore Resources (ASX:BMR) started an initial drilling program at the Maniopota polymetallic prospect within its Ruddygore project in Queensland, according to a Friday filing with the Australian bourse.
The program includes five holes covering 650 meters targeting geological, geochemical, and geophysical targets in the vicinity of the historic Maniopota mine workings, and is expected to be completed within a week, the filing said.
Additionally, maiden diamond drilling is underway at the Torpy's prospect for further testing of recently identified silver-lead-zinc-indium mineralization, per the filing.
Shares fell nearly 2% in afternoon trade Friday.
