BioHarvest Sciences Inc., a biotechnology company specializing in its proprietary Botanical Synthesis™ platform, has been awarded a $1.6 million non-dilutive grant from the Israeli Innovation Authority (IIA). The funding, part of the IIA's Bio-Convergence program, will support the development of BioHarvest's second-generation Botanical Synthesis™ process. The grant will accelerate the integration of AI-based tools for process optimization, expand bioreactor capacity for improved production, and enhance autonomous manufacturing functions. The grant was awarded solely to BioHarvest Sciences Inc. and not to multiple organizations. Repayment is contingent on future revenues from the funded project, with no equity issued in connection with the grant.
