BlackRock's (BLK) Alex Shingler is stepping down from his role in the company as co-head of income investing for multi-asset strategies and solutions, he said in a LinkedIn post Wednesday.
Shingler, who joined BlackRock in 2009, will remain with the company through mid-February to "support a smooth transition," according to the post.
Co-head Justin Christofel will become global head of the Multi-Asset Strategies & Solutions Income platform beginning Jan. 1, Bloomberg reported Thursday, citing a client letter from BlackRock.
BlackRock declined to comment.
