Vizsla Silver (VZLA) said Thursday it has agreed to acquire 10 claims comprising 2,378 hectares along the Panuco-San Dimas corridor from Fresnillo's Minera Fresnillo for $2 million in cash and issue 854,697 shares worth about $4 million.
Seven of the 10 claims, located in Mexico's Sinaloa, are highly prospective, the company said.
Vizsla Silver said it is in the process of expanding its survey to cover the strategic claims and to start mapping and rock sampling, the company said.
