Nordic Nickel (ASX:NNL) said assays from the ongoing diamond drill program at the Kopsa gold-copper project in Finland extended the gold-copper mineralization to the west of the current resource, according to a Wednesday Australian bourse filing.
It encountered intercepts of 17 meters at 1.32 grams per tonne grade of gold, 0.1% grade of copper, and 2 g/t grade of silver from 69 meters, as well as 27 meters at 0.85 g/t grade of gold, 0.13% grade of copper, and 2 g/t grade of silver from 92 meters.
Ongoing drilling continues to test the open mineralization along strike and prospective electromagnetic anomalies in key areas at the project.
