Geopacific Resources (ASX:GPR) said drilling results at the Woodlark gold project in Papua New Guinea support the potential for resource growth across multiple mining areas, according to a Monday filing with the Australian bourse.
Drilling yielded seven meters at 5.5 grams per tonne grade of gold from 112 meters and ten meters at 1.39 g/t gold, the filing said.
Shares of the company rose 6% in recent Monday trade.
