SiriusPoint (SPNT) said Tuesday its subsidiary International Medical Group will acquire Assist America.

Assist America provides global emergency travel assistance services and generates about $20 million in annual assistance revenues, the company said.

SiriusPoint said the acquisition will increase International Medical Group's third-party medical and travel assistance revenue.

The acquisition is expected to be accretive to return on equity and earnings per share, while adding capital-light fee income, the company said.

Shares of SiriusPoint were up about 1% in recent Tuesday premarket activity.
